New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are the professional American Football team which is founded in the year of 1967 as an expansion team which based in New Orleans, Louisiana. They are playing their home games at Tulane Stadium in 1974 and since 1975 the Saints home Stadium has been the Louisiana Superdome. The Saint’s are the current champions of the National Football League and playing in the South Division of the National Football Conference.

The Owners of the team are Tom Benson and Rita Benson Leblanc, the General Manager is Mickey Loomis and the head coach of the team is Sean Payton. The colors of the team are black, old gold and white. The team logo is a fleur-de-lis (s symbol of the city of New Orleans and of France’s Bourbon monarchy).

The 2009 season is the franchise’s 43rd season in the National Football League and it is one of the most successful team which has won Super Bowl XLIV.  The Saints had set the record of 13 victories and they improved on their 8-8 record and got the fourth place finish in the National Football Conference. The five players of the team have been selected to the pro Bowl, since the game was held one week prior to Super Bowl XLVI in which they are not participated.
